Meet Lisa Agona
As chief marketing officer, Lisa Agona leads Sphera’s marketing efforts in support of the company’s accelerated growth strategy during a pivotal time for sustainability. Based in Sphera’s Chicago headquarters, Lisa works closely with CEO Paul Marushka to enhance Sphera’s enterprise marketing, brand and communications strategy and support the firm’s continued growth and expansion globally.
Lisa has over 20 years of marketing experience helping global IT services and software companies build, reimagine and strengthen their marketing functions for scale. Most recently, Agona served as consulting chief marketing officer at data analytics consultancy firm DAS42.
Prior to DAS42, Lisa held global chief marketing officer roles at German remote connectivity software company TeamViewer, hybrid IT services company Ensono and business information and data analytics company LexisNexis.
Lisa began her career at Accenture, where she held several marketing positions including global head of marketing, capital markets. In those roles, she and her teams were instrumental in entering new markets and client segments and achieving double digit growth, both organically and through acquisitions.
Lisa’s experience and enterprise marketing expertise align with Sphera’s vision and will help accelerate growth globally. Lisa received her bachelor’s degree in economics from West Virginia University and master’s degree in business administration from Columbia Business School.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with friends and family and doting on her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Sebastian. She calls Chicago home, where she finds inspiration in the city’s vibrant energy and friendly, generous people.
