Refrigerant Management: Changes, Challenges, Solutions

Refrigerants and regulations are changing again. Facility and environmental managers, HVAC/R contractors, and OEMs are being affected by proposed state-based and federal regulations. What’s your plan?

US EPA and the AIM Act provisions are restoring regulations affecting high global warming potential refrigerants – HFCs and substitute refrigerants – for the phase down and phase out. Expected regulations to be in sync with the stratospheric ozone depletion refrigerant regulations for leak repairs, leak inspections, and leakage reporting on HFC and other substitute refrigerants.
