Our 2024 Sustainability Report reflects the global impact of Sphera and its worldwide subsidiaries between January 1 and December 31, 2024 — demonstrating our continued commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility and strong governance practices.
Environmental
In 2024, we continued to make meaningful progress toward our sustainability goals:
- Sphera achieved a 35% reduction in total GHG emissions from our 2019 baseline, building on previous years’ momentum.
- We reduced our total office energy usage by 37% from 2023.
- Our Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions have now decreased by 74% since 2019, further exceeding our Blackstone emissions reduction target of 15%.
Social
Our culture of collaboration, inclusion and wellbeing continues to grow stronger:
- Employees nominated 397 colleagues for our end-of-year awards.
- Our full-time equivalent (FTE) employee gender breakdown was 543.2 female / 809.6 male in 2024.
- Colleagues collectively walked or ran 43,561,242 steps, supporting their wellness and charitable causes around the world.
Governance
Strong governance remains at the heart of our business:
- Sphera Customer Network (SCN) received 294,197 logins in 2024, 81.83% higher than in 2023.
- The 2024 Sphera Sustainability Virtual Summit was attended by over 700 professionals.
- We maintained ISO 27001, SOC 2 and TISAX certifications in 2024.
