Turning EHSS Professionals into Technology Leaders

Like it or not, all companies are becoming technology companies in today’s world because they are collecting, managing and analyzing data that helps them drive decisions. EHS&S professionals are right in the middle of this gathering and analysis routine, yet they are not typically the ones driving for efficiencies with technology. Why is this and what can we do to change it? In this technical session we are bringing together two communities to address this challenge and discuss:

  • Where is biggest need for technology in this dirty and dangerous industry?
  • Is there a lack of technical solutions?
  • What are the roadblocks to adopting it?
  • What we can do to bridge this gap?

Representing the EHS&S community is Becky Neal, Vice Chair of the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals and representing EHS&S technology is Brian Payer Director of Digital Solutions at Sphera.
