PPWR (EU 2025/40) applies from 12 August 2026. Any company placing packaged products on the EU market must be able to demonstrate compliance through a signed EU Declaration of Conformity (DoC) supported by an Annex VII technical file. That requires reliable supplier data, substance information, and packaging documentation.

Many organizations already have processes in place for product compliance. PPWR extends those requirements to packaging.

In this session, Sphera experts will explain the key PPWR requirements, including substance restrictions, supplier data collection, packaging documentation and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations.

You’ll learn what data is required, where the biggest compliance challenges exist and how to prepare for both the 2026 and 2030 milestones.
