Independent analyst recognition highlights Sphera’s strengths in helping enterprises identify and respond to emerging risks

CHICAGO, IL  (October 7, 2026) – Sphera has been recognized as a Leader in the 2026 Green Quadrant: Risk Intelligence Software report by independent analyst firm Verdantix, which found that Sphera offers one of “the most comprehensive risk intelligence software capabilities” on the market.

In the first Green Quadrant of its kind, Verdantix highlights the need for risk intelligence to become a broader enterprise capability as operational risks become increasingly interconnected. The evaluation focused on vendors’ ability to combine external data feeds, expert insights and technology to identify patterns, correlations and anomalies that could signal emerging threats.

The Verdantix 2026 Global Corporate Risk Survey further underscores this need with more than 60% of respondents planning to increase risk intelligence budgets in the next 12 months. Yet many organizations reported they remain under-equipped, with nearly half still relying on manual internet searches or having no risk intelligence mechanism in place.

In the Green Quadrant: Risk Intelligence Software report, Verdantix found that “Sphera provides reliable risk intelligence across multiple domains, via robust AI integration models with advanced data collection protocols.” Sphera scored 2.8 out of 3.0 for AI integration, with the report also highlighting the breadth of its risk intelligence coverage.

The recognition follows Sphera’s recent placement as a Leader in the Verdantix Green Quadrant for Supply Chain Sustainability Software. Together, the two recognitions reinforce Sphera’s approach to connecting risk intelligence, supplier performance, sustainability and operational resilience to help organizations better manage risks across their operations.

“Today’s enterprises face a new reality where sustainability performance, supply chain resilience and risk intelligence are intrinsically linked. Organizations need the ability to understand not only what is happening across their value chain, but also what it means for business continuity, compliance, supplier relationships and long-term performance. We believe our leadership positions in both the Risk Intelligence Software and Supply Chain Sustainability Software Green Quadrants reflect Sphera’s ability to help organizations connect these domains and make more informed, proactive decisions,” said Paul Marushka, CEO and president of Sphera.

Luis Carlos Niño, Senior Manager at Verdantix said, “As enterprise risks become increasingly interconnected, software needs to support decisions across functions rather than create another isolated risk feed. For enterprise buyers, the value will not come from collecting more signals, but from connecting trusted external intelligence to the suppliers, products, sites and operational decisions that matter most.”

The findings across both reports reflect a broader shift away from siloed approaches to risk toward more connected operational intelligence. By bringing together insights across risk, safety and sustainability, Sphera helps organizations make more informed decisions across their operations.
