As chief revenue officer, John Tully leads Sphera’s global sales and account management organization to drive continued growth in the marketplace. Based in Sphera’s Chicago headquarters, John brings over 20 years of experience in leading complex, global go-to-market models including direct, indirect and partner-oriented reporting strategies. His strategic vision has produced executable road maps, strong performance results, increased customer satisfaction and shareholder value.

Meet John Tully
John Tully is Sphera’s chief revenue officer. He brings over 20 years of experience in leading complex, global go-to-market models including direct, indirect, and partner-oriented reporting strategies. He is highly experienced in leading and inspiring global sales and account management teams and building processes that contribute to future growth plans.
Before joining Sphera, John served as Chief Sales Officer at Stibo Systems, where his leadership enabled the alignment of resources across various departments and the establishment of a reliable forecasting process.
Prior to Stibo Systems, John held senior executive roles with Informatica, where he was responsible for all aspects of the go-to-market strategy. He has also held senior leadership sales roles with VMware, BMC and CA Technologies.
John’s immense expertise in driving strategic growth will be instrumental in steering the sales and account management organization as Sphera continues to scale to meet increasing demand in the enterprise sustainability software market. He received a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Economics from Illinois State University.
He and his wife reside in the Chicago area. In his spare time, John enjoys running and mentoring others, but above all he and his wife cherish spending quality time with their kids as they participate in their many diverse activities.
