About the conference
Join Sphera at Hazards 36, one of the world’s leading process safety conferences. Hosted by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), the event brings together process safety and loss prevention professionals, engineers, regulators and researchers from across the UK, Europe and around the world to share good practice, emerging thinking and lessons learned in managing major hazards.
This year’s programme brings together technical presentations, plenaries and flash posters focused on how good process safety practice is identified, embedded and sustained. It places particular emphasis on emerging energy technologies and AI’s growing role in risk management.
Sphera at Hazards 36
Visit the Sphera team to learn how leading organizations are moving beyond fragmented systems, inconsistent processes and siloed data – the barriers that leave many without a single source of truth for hazards and compliance risks. Sphera helps unify workplace safety, process safety and environmental compliance through unified safety data, standardized processes and a consistent, enterprise-wide approach to operational risk. The result: safer, more resilient and sustainable operations that protect people, production, and operational excellence.
Better Intelligence. Better Decisions. Safer Operations.

Gold Sponsor Session: From Data to Decisions – Putting the operational digital twin to work
The presentation will explore how operational digital twins can identify changing risk, explain why it matters and present relevant information to the appropriate decision-maker. The objective is not to allow data or AI to make safety-critical decisions, but to give competent people the context they need to make better-informed, earlier and more defensible choices.
