Sphera continues leadership streak in 2021 independent analyst firm EHS software report

CHICAGO, IL (Jan. 26, 2021)  Sphera, a leading global provider of Integrated Risk Management software, data and consulting services, has been recognized as a market leader by independent analyst firm Verdantix in its 2021 Green Quadrant EHS software report.

Since Verdantix first launched the Green Quadrant EHS Software Report in 2012, Sphera has consistently appeared in the Leaders quadrant. In the 2021 report, Verdantix highlights Sphera’s robust all-round Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) software capabilities, and recognizes the strengths present across EHS and chemicals compliance, product stewardship, sustainability, environmental compliance and integrated risk management.

Verdantix awarded Sphera the highest score in Sustainability Management, and stated: “Sphera’s corporate sustainability reporting (formerly SoFi) software, product life cycle assessment (formerly GaBi) software, and in-house team of more than 100 sustainability consultants are well-suited to firms seeking to establish or maintain industry leadership on corporate sustainability excellence.”

The 2021 Green Quadrant also validates Sphera’s strategy to invest in software, data and services that supports customers in managing and mitigating not only EHS risks, but also risks across an enterprise. While other vendors have focused solely on EHS capabilities, the breadth and depth of Sphera’s capabilities offer a comprehensive solution to organizations’ most complex challenges.

“Large, multinational firms desiring to maintain enterprise-wide, cross-functional visibility should consider Sphera given its end-to-end software capabilities across environment, health, safety, operational risk, sustainability, and product stewardship management,” said Verdantix Principal Analyst Yaowen Ma. “In particular, Sphera has a proven track record of supporting customers in heavy asset and infrastructure industries such as energy, chemicals, metals and mining, and power utilities.”

“We are very proud to be continuously recognized by Verdantix as a leader,” said Sphera President and CEO Paul Marushka. “This report demonstrates that our integrated offering is valued and validated by the market, and we will continue to invest in innovative, integrated solutions that—when combined with our market leading content and expertise—improve safety, sustainability and productivity across our customers’ enterprises.”
