David Schur

As Sphera’s CTO, David Schur leads the technology and innovation teams to deliver and operate our world-class Software-as-a-Service-based offerings in SpheraCloud. In his role, Dave is responsible for Sphera product development, architecture, IT operations & infrastructure, business applications, data science and R&D. Dave is a proven engineering executive who brings more than 25 years of experience in defining, developing and executing large-scale cloud SaaS offerings.

Prior to joining Sphera, Dave was the vice president of product development for CCC Information Services, a software and services claims management company, where he drove the development and deployment of their insurance-carrier offerings since 2013. Prior to CCC, Dave ran the flagship product lines for SPSS, a data statistics software company, launching the enterprise Predictive Analytics offerings and integrating their technologies via acquisition into IBM.

Dave holds a B.S. in computer and electrical engineering from Purdue University. In his free time, Dave enjoys being outdoors whenever he can, whether it’s hiking, biking, windsurfing, kayaking, boating or fishing.
