EDGE Certification

Working towards operational excellence, together

We Support You in Your EDGE Certification

EDGE Certification is the first green building standard of its kind in the world.

An innovation of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), member of the World Bank Group, EDGE is composed of three elements: a cloud-based application, an outcome-based green building standard and a robust certification system.

Companies can design and certify a single building or an entire portfolio of assets as green using EDGE. EDGE is now available for over 140 countries around the world and is suitable for a variety of buildings including offices, warehouses, retail, hospitality, hospitals, and residential developments.

To achieve the EDGE standard, a building must be 20 percent more efficient compared to a standard building in that location across three categories: energy, water and embodied energy in materials.
