It has been 14 years since the first podcast made its debut on the information superhighway, and, that same year, The Guardian newspaper declared there was an “audible revolution” a-brewin’ with podcasting. Incidentally, a week before that prognostication about podcasts being ready for prime time, a Harvard University student named Mark Zuckerberg launched a social platform for his college institution called The Facebook where people could stay connected and share ideas and such, but we’re not sure whatever became of it. We kid; we kid.
