Meeting Stronger Refrigerant Regulations

The EPA is updating the record keeping and reporting requirements under Section 608 that currently apply to ozone depleting refrigerants and extending them to substitutes like hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs). This action reduces climate-damaging emissions from air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and is aimed at strengthening the existing program.
