There’s big, and then there’s Texas big.

That’s why it’s no surprise Sphera chose Austin to host our upcoming inspire user conference and why so many EH&S influencers will be two-steppin’—or South by Southwestin’ perhaps—their way toward the state’s capital this fall. There, attendees will be able to network, listen to exciting speakers, learn big lessons about Environmental Health and Safety and, most importantly, get training on Sphera’s products and services.

Attendees will also be the first to learn about Sphera’s new platform and products , game-changing developments of which we can say no more!

Oh, and we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention there’s lots of big fun to be had along the way.

inspire 2017

The event takes place Oct. 22-25 at the scenic Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa, a stone’s throw from the Lone Star State’s own awe-inspiring Colorado River.

Learn, Learn, Learn

First and foremost, those making their way to inspire will get unprecedented access to Sphera’s Operational Risk, Environmental Performance and Product Stewardship experts to learn about our software solutions and industry insights. During the conference, there are also ample opportunities to learn at our solution-track breakout sessions as well as our special three-hour product and methodology training on the last day of the show.

Sphera software solutions users already know that our Sphera Customer Network is there to help you every business day of the year with any problems or troubleshooting you might need, but at inspire, the Customer Care Zone will be fully staffed with software experts who are ready to help. It’s a great way to meet and work directly with the people who help you out throughout the year. And if you need some individualized attention, no problem. Sphera’s demo pods will be up and running throughout inspire to allow you to test-drive Sphera’s software solutions so you can see what product best fits your needs.

And, of course, there’s lots to be learned from the 20-plus expert speakers and panelists—such as Verdantix CEO David Metcalfe, LNS research analyst Peter Bussey and Lisa Carty, the director of corporate EHS at Kinder Morgan—who will be presenting and answering your questions at inspire. Of course, you’ll also hear from Sphera CEO Paul Marushka and other members of the Sphera executive leadership team as well as a very special keynoter who we will announce in the coming weeks.

There’s also a plethora of training opportunities at inspire that you won’t want to miss. We will take a deeper dive into our training agenda in an upcoming blog.

Fun, Fun, Fun

While your main objective for attending the conference would undoubtedly be the same as the 175 people who have already signed up—namely learning and networking—but who says you can’t have a little fun along the way? That’s why we picked the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines for the event. From hosting nightly S’more cookouts to horseback riding to an Audubon-certified golf course to a waterpark on its grounds, the resort has recreational amenities for everybody. And that’s just the beginning of the fun possibilities.

Are there any Formula 1 fans out there? If so, you might want to consider getting to Austin a little before the conference to rev up your weekend. The 2017 U.S. Grand Prix takes place from Oct. 19 to 22, and with Stevie Wonder and Justin Timberlake concerts on the docket, we can’t stop the feeling that you’ll have a lot of fun.

While the conference officially begins on Monday, Oct. 23, you need to get there on Sunday! We will be offering executive events all day Sunday consisting of golf, horseback riding and even an airboat ride. It sure beats mowing the lawn or doing your normal Sunday-morning chores. Besides, you definitely don’t want to miss our Welcome Reception that evening on the Riversong Lawn. Insider tip: Bring your appetites; we hear the food will be amazing.

Monday evening, we will also host a very special cocktail and dinner event that includes an opportunity to get close to long-horned bulls, watch armadillo races and a make-your-own BBQ sauce demonstration. It’s going to be an entertaining evening for sure, and that’s no bull!

Finally, during the event, Sphera will be giving out its coveted Embracing Excellence Awards to a select few companies that have initiated innovative and inspiring projects with quantifiable results.

We can’t wait to see you in Austin for the big event! And if you can’t make it to Austin, we hope to see you in Brussels, Belgium, for inspire EMEA, which takes place Nov. 7-9 at the breathtaking Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in the heart of the city.

Either way, we guarantee you’ll leave feeling inspired. In fact, cue Peter Gabriel, we guarantee it. Big time!
